Compassionate care, grounded presence, & community safety
At NightLight, we believe every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported—especially during moments of vulnerability, transformation, or overwhelm. Our program was created to offer compassionate, trauma-informed, and stigma-free support for those navigating altered states, crisis moments, and integration after profound experiences.
Whether someone is in the midst of a psychedelic journey, processing a past experience, supporting another person, or simply seeking education and connection, we are here to hold space with care.
Inspired by peer-support and psychedelic harm reduction models that emphasize presence, nonjudgment, deep listening, and emotional safety, our work centers on helping people move through challenging moments with grounded support rather than fear or isolation.

Mission
To create safe, compassionate, and stigma-free spaces where individuals and communities can access emotional support, harm reduction education, crisis response, and integrative healing services during and after transformative experiences.

Vision
A community where every person feels safe, welcomed, and supported in moments of altered consciousness, emotional distress, or transformation—and where care is rooted in connection, dignity, and belonging.

Values
Our values are rooted in compassion, safety, presence, and community care. We believe every person deserves to be met without judgment, held with deep listening and dignity, and supported in ways that foster empowerment, healing, and belonging.

Our Approach

Our model is rooted in trauma-informed care, harm reduction principles, peer support, and integrative mental health. We believe that even challenging experiences can become opportunities for healing when met with compassion, attunement, and skilled support. You do not need to be in crisis to reach out. Sometimes support simply means having someone hold steady while you find your way back to yourself.

Sometimes it helps to have someone who can simply sit beside you. Someone who listens deeply. Someone who can remind you that you are safe. Someone who can help you navigate intense emotions, body sensations, or difficult moments.

We support people who are:
-
In the midst of a psychedelic experience (challenging or not)
-
Processing a recent or past psychedelic experience
-
Supporting a loved one during an active journey
-
Sitters, guides, or peer-support volunteers needing consultation or debriefing
-
Curious about harm reduction, integration, and community safety resources
-
Seeking mental health support related to altered states, grief, trauma, or substance use
