NOURISH TOGEHER:
RECLAIMING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD, BODY, & SELF

This small-group experience invites you to rebuild a peaceful, empowered relationship with food, your body, and yourself. Over eight weeks, we will explore the roots of diet culture, deepen body trust, and cultivate compassion through mindfulness, intuitive eating, and emotional processing. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive community where healing unfolds through understanding, curiosity, and connection—not control or shame.

Who this is for

This program is built for young adults working toward recovery. Whether you're just beginning to think about change or years into the process, there's a seat for you here.

What happens

Each weekly session includes group psychotherapy, nutrition education, and a supported meal or snack together. There's space to process, to learn, and to practice, all guided by trained facilitators.

Cost and coverage

This is an insurance-covered support group. Out-of-network and cash-pay options are also available, so coverage doesn't have to stand in the way of getting support.

A note about care

These groups include clinical support from trained professionals, but they're not a substitute for comprehensive medical care or intensive treatment. If you're in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to a healthcare provider.

SOPHIE DE JONG, LMHC

Sophie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship with food, body, and self. Her work is grounded in an anti-diet, Health at Every Size (HAES) framework that embraces body diversity and self-compassion as essential parts of well-being.

Before joining the Hawaiʻi Institute of Integrated Behavioral Health, she worked in a range of clinical settings including eating disorder IOP/PHP programs, residential addiction treatment, college counseling centers and is currently completing a Certificate in Eating Disorders Treatment at Lewis and Clark Graduate School. These experiences have shaped a holistic and collaborative approach to care—one that integrates emotional, physical, and relational healing.

I support young people and adults navigating challenges such as disordered eating, perfectionism, anxiety, addiction recovery, and identity transitions. My style is relational, trauma-informed, and affirming, centering safety, curiosity, and self-understanding as the foundation for change.

I often collaborate with eating-disorder-informed registered dietitians and medical providers to ensure each client receives integrated, compassionate, and comprehensive support.

LIZ KAOH, RDN

After completing graduate degrees in psychology and human nutrition, Liz felt deeply called to support people in navigating the complex relationship between food, body, and self. Her background in psychology led her into the inner world of thought and emotion, while her training as a dietitian grounded her in the science of nourishment and physiology. Together, these perspectives shape the way she works; with compassion, curiosity, and respect for the whole person.

Liz's career has taken her through many different areas of care, from eating disorder recovery programs at all levels to oncology clinics and integrative health settings. These experiences have reinforced her belief that healing happens most fully when both the mind and body are cared for, and that food can be both a source of nourishment and a path toward greater self-trust.

In her practice, Liz helps clients address hormonal imbalances, digestive challenges, performance plateaus, and recovery from disordered eating patterns. Across these areas, she often sees common threads: difficulty trusting hunger and fullness cues, disrupted energy or sleep, and a longing to find balance between nourishment and enjoyment. Her goal is to guide clients toward physical health and restoring a positive, peaceful relationship with food and their body.
