Alexis Muller is a passionate public health educator specializing in medical cannabis science and therapeutics. Alexis Muller is a leading voice in cannabis education, with over two decades of experience immersed in Hawai‘i’s cannabis community. Alexis currently leads public health initiatives at the Hawai‘i State Department of Health’s Office of Medical Cannabis Control and Regulation. Her work includes developing and delivering science-based education to medical providers, patients, and the general public with a focus on safe access, harm reduction, and informed decision-making.

Holding a Master of Science in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from the University of Maryland—the first graduate program of its kind in the U.S.—Alexis bridges the gap between cannabis science, patient empowerment, and public health. She has presented at national conferences, including the Hawai‘i Cannabis Expo, and has led statewide education campaigns, professional development for healthcare providers, and community engagement efforts to destigmatize cannabis use.

In all her work, Alexis centers compassion, science, and accessibility—creating trusted educational spaces for dialogue about the intersection of cannabis and mental health.

Dawn Martin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, clinical supervisor, and integration therapist whose life’s work bridges evidence-based mental health care with deep reverence for nature, community healing, and integrative wellness. With over two decades of experience across clinical, academic, and government sectors, Dawn brings a wealth of knowledge in trauma-informed care, substance use disorder treatment, and holistic approaches to recovery.

Dawn is an integration therapist who supports whole-person healing and believes in creating safe, informed spaces for dialogue around cannabis use. She is a passionate advocate for harm reduction and responsible cannabis use, drawing on her extensive clinical and cultural knowledge to educate the public and professionals alike. Dawn is committed to destigmatizing plant medicines and guiding individuals in making empowered, informed decisions about their mental health and wellness. Her current work includes supporting clients in cannabis integration and leading community education efforts that center safety, compassion, and connection.
