Sara Kuʻuipo Mishina Kunz

Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, Sara is a dynamic ecotherapy facilitator, award-winning storyteller, and mindfulness guide who blends nature-based healing with expressive arts and trauma-informed care. With over a decade of global experience as a performing artist, public speaker, and group leader, Sara brings a uniquely creative and compassionate lens to her work.
Sara specializes in guiding immersive workshops and retreats that combine mindfulness, nature immersion, and holistic well-being—supporting clients in reconnecting with the ʻāina, their bodies, and their inner wisdom. Her work is rooted in her lived experiences across cultures and her understanding of systemic barriers to mental health care.
A certified yoga and meditation teacher, current counseling psychology graduate student, and founder of a nonprofit supporting sexual assault survivors, Sara leads with heart, humor, and humility. Her commitment to accessible, embodied healing is evident in every circle she holds and every story she shares.
